about me
hello! i go by frank or stein if you want, the owner of whirlwind. im not really sure how to explain myself well, so i hope you don't mind.
in general, im an ambivert (i think). i like to be kept to myself at times, but is very talkative when i get the chance. i've been commonly told that im goofy and very creative when it comes to my interests, but a bit moody at times. other than that, im okay!
my interests consist of digital art, studying instruments, and technology design/history/preservation. and as you can tell by my site alone, i am very in love with old internet. i am also very big on horror and anything unsettling/surreal.
about site
as of october 30th, 2023, my site was created for something to express myself in, like a visualized version of my brain put onto the internet for other people to come and examine. i like to describe it as an amalgamation of the things i love, a tech frankenstein (haha me) of a site put together in a messy collage.
coding is not exactly new to me, since ive started around the pandemic fooling around with coding languages that peaked my interest. first it was LUA cause i was fixated on roblox in an normal amount, then i found out about a myspace clone refered to as spacehey and picked around at my profile like it was a sandbox. i found HTML and CSS was very fun to toy around with and soon became invested in personal sites.
having a personal site is something that brings me to home. being able to have somewhere to run to for my self expression and comfort is a joy to me. as well as browsing across the web and finding other sites that helps me understand the person through how they express theirselfs via their site.
ive always barely bothered to interact much in social medias, as the thought of it intimidates me, especially in this day of age. so having a place where i can freely be myself is wonderful.
